PlayWrightThe Trial version of PlayWright is being developed.
Updating Trial documents to the full applicationIf you are using the latest versions of the Trials (SW b6 and BW b3) AND you upgrade to the full version BEFORE you trial period expires, you will need to do nothing. These trial versions use templates of the same name as the Full versions -- i.e. ScriptWright.dot and BookWright.dot. So, installing the full version over a functioning trial version will automatically associate your document with the proper unlimited template. If you wait until after your trial has expired, then your document will be associated with Normal.dot, and you will have to attach the new, full templates using Tool.Templates and Add-ins as described below: Documents created using earlier trial templates (if you document is associated with either BookTrial.dot, or ScriptTrial.dot) then you must manually associate your document with the unlimited templates (called BookWright.dot and ScriptWright.dot). Here are some notes: It is a good idea to uninstall the Trial software before installing the Full versions. If you don't nothing bad should happen. But some files may be duplicated.
To manually attached <AppName>.dot (where AppName is BookWright, ScriptWright or PlayWright) to your document, do the following: a) Open the document created with the Trial software b) Select the Tools submenu c) Select Templates and Add-ins d) Click the Attach button e) You will see a listing of templates in the Word template directory. f) Double click on the <AppName> folder g) Select the <AppName>.dot file. h) Click Open (this will return you to the Templates and Add-ins dialog box) i) You should UNCHECK "Automatically Update Document Styles" j) Click OK
